Christopher Boyd, Security Research Manager of FaceTime (aka "Paperghost"), is a leading expert on malware, spyware and hacking exploits. As part of FaceTime Security Labs, Boyd is responsible for performing detailed research on new IM, P2P and spyware threats to enable rapid response and remediation solutions for FaceTime customers. He recently played a key role in FaceTime's discovery of the rootkit-powered botnet delivered via AOL instant messenger that ultimately traced back to an organization in the Middle East. Boyd has also helped crack the riddle of the IRC daisy chain known as Spazbox.net, and caused rogue Adware bundles being pushed across BitTorrent forums to be pulled due to public outcry.
