Industry Veteran will Drive European Expansion

London, UK - 28 November, 2005 - FaceTime Communications, the leading provider of solutions for securing IM, P2P and spyware, has appointed Nick Sears as Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. With over 15 years of experience in IT security and technology markets, Sears will be responsible for aggressively expanding FaceTime's business across EMEA. Sears was previously head of US operations at Web and Spyware security firm, Finjan Software. During his five year tenure, he was responsible for direct and indirect sales operations in Europe and the USA. Prior to Finjan, Sears spent seven years at European networking distributor, Azlan. During this time, he held several director level positions including UK sales director, responsible for a $200m sales operation and building markets for companies including Checkpoint, Cisco and Netscape. Commenting on Sears' appointment, company president and CEO, Kailash Ambwani said: "Our objective is to keep our global customers one step ahead of the increasing threats associated with "greynet" applications like spyware, P2P file sharing and instant messaging. Nick's deep knowledge of Web security issues and customer requirements will prove instrumental in the delivery of our compliance and security solutions to organizations worldwide." Ambwani continues:
"Nick also brings significant experience in creating and driving direct and channel sales strategies and will play a key role in helping FaceTime achieve and exceed its aggressive growth plans through partners." Nick concludes:
"I'm really looking forward to building on the success already achieved by FaceTime in the USA and establishing strong relationships with partners across EMEA. Eight of the top ten banks in the USA use FaceTime solutions, and IDC recently recognised FaceTime as a leading supplier of enterprise instant messaging management (EIM) technology. Backed by a global product development team and the expertise of FaceTime Security Labs, we are well-positioned in an exciting market."
