that allowed Optika to reach an expanded customer base and ensure
its hold in the transaction resolution space. Previously, as vice

initial sales force and secured IBM, Motorola, Sun Microsystems and
other major accounts for the company. While working for 2Bridge
Software as director of Business Development, he secured SAP as a

Oracle, Informix, STC and 2Bridge Software. "Global businesses are
increasingly relying on next-generation instant messaging
applications for time sensitive, business problem solving," said
James Fisher. "FaceTime recognizes the growing need to improve
customer service and reduce contact center costs through escalation
management. Clearly, FaceTime is the leader in the emerging market
for instant messaging applications. My experience and passion for
growing companies that focus on emerging markets makes FaceTime an
ideal match. I'm extremely excited about the opportunity to help
the company take full advantage of this unique market opportunity."
Instant Messaging is the fastest growing communications channel in
history. According to IDC, by 2004, over 400M clients will be using
IM generating 2 trillion instant messages between consumers and
businesses, and Global 2000 contact center CRM budgets will be over
$12 billion. This consumer phenomenon creates tremendous
opportunities for Global 2000 businesses, and FaceTime
Communications is uniquely positioned to help their partners and
customers capitalize on this huge market opportunity with a server
technology that is interoperable with the world's leading consumer
Instant Messaging networks from AOL, Microsoft and Yahoo.
