Job Description:
The Strategic Account Manager position is responsible for all
sales activity in a defined set of our largest accounts. The
candidate will work with existing, established customers as well as
new target accounts with the goal of expanding our footprint into
all areas including messaging, marketing, collaboration and
security.
The candidate should have a demonstrable track record in
developing large accounts with complex sales cycles, creation of
account plans for the specified accounts and managing and executing
against a business plan for these accounts. Must possess a strong
work ethic, ability to grasp and articulate both technical and
business benefits associated with Unified Communications, Social
media and/or archiving solutions. A high level of energy, activity
and integrity are essential for success. Ability to work in a fast
paced, rapidly evolving, demanding environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of Enterprise software sales
experience
- Experience working with top tier financial services
accounts
- A strong network of executive or "C" level contacts
- Social Media, Unified Communications or archiving experience
highly preferred
- Proven and verifiable track record of consistent over quota
achievement
- Proven ability to develop executive relationships in major
accounts
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- BS/BA degree from accredited institution
